Massage therapist and life coach Sya Warfield began her studies in healing therapies in 1996. In 2001 she spent three months training in massage at Thailand's Old Medicine Hospital. Sya's intensive studies taught her to focus on relieving tension while incorporating energy work, reflexology, and gentle stretching.
Sya works her healing magic by combining various massage techniques from both Eastern and Western traditions, incorporating Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Sculpting, Hot and Cold Stone Therapy, Tui Na, Reflexology, Acupressure, Craniosacral Therapy, and Reiki. To promote relaxation, Sya engages the senses through aromatherapy, ambient sounds, and color therapy.
"Her massage style is really unique - everything from acupressure to deep pressure to Thai all rolled into one exquisite 90 minute experience left me not only feeling completely rejuvenated but so relaxed I doubted I would be able to pry myself off of her table before taking a short nap. She relieved that with a nice warm cup of tea and I left thanking the powers that be that I had finally found an awesome therapist here in SF." - Gabriel S., San Francisco, CA
"Sya is really really good. The environment is soothing and her hands (and elbows, I think!) get into the places where I tend to store stress. I like deep tissue work and Sya can do that for me. I highly recommend you treat yourself to a session with Sya!" - Dave M., Los Gatos, CA
"Sya does first class healing work, and made me wish I lived in San Francisco so that I could be a regular client. She listened to what I thought was wrong, investigated, and provided serious relief. Her presence is calming, her studio warm and inviting, but most importantly her hands are incredibly skilled. She used a combination of techniques for maximum effect - no formal discipline boundaries, just good healing. Absolutely go." - Robert A., Atlanta, GA
