Roots Restaurant is the gastronomic jewel of The Orchard Garden Hotel, the first hotel in San Francisco designed to be 'green' from the inside-out. Roots Chef Jason Gaskins continues the hotel's green theme by creating daily menus based on seasonal, locally grown produce, naturally raised meats and sustainable seafood, which he infuses with his signature American-Mediterranean fusion style.

Sample cheeses from local Bay Area spots like Point Reyes and Redwood Farms or share the Dungeness Crab "Mac & Cheese" appetizer.
